Kirsten Patterson is the founder of FACES Dermatology Skin Care, a trusted clinic that has been changing lives since 1999. A certified Medical. A Skin Expert who graduated from College with honours and has over 26 years of experience, along with more than 19 medical certifications, Kirsten founded FACES in 2004 as a single mother dedicated to providing advanced skin care in the Foothills.
At a time when Okotoks offered little more than basic beauty services, Kirsten saw the need for medical-grade treatments in her community. After over five years of intensive training and working alongside the top and most respected dermatologists in Calgary, she opened her first clinic on Elizabeth Street and grew it into one of the busiest and most respected skin care clinics in Western Canada.
Kirsten specializes in treating acne, pigmentation, melasma, scars, warts, and skin tags, as well as performing advanced medical-grade peels and much more. FACES is the only clinic in the Foothills to offer Plexr Plasma technology, the latest in non-surgical eye lift treatments, and Kirsten continues to stay at the forefront of dermatology by investing in new medical equipment and emerging technologies to give her clients the best possible results.
Her work has been featured in Fashion Magazine, Wedding Bells, Global Television, and Eagle 100.9 FM, and she has earned over 10 Readers’ Choice Awards. She has also raised funds for organizations such as Rowan House Society, using her platform to empower and support women in the community. In recent years, she has appeared as a published cover model in international magazines and continues to advocate for women in business and mental health awareness.

Chantelle Mills
Registered Nurse with a Focus in Aesthetic Medicine
Chantelle Mills has been part of the FACES team for over three years, bringing both expertise and compassion to every client. A Registered Nurse and Certified Cosmetic Nurse Injector, she earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Mount Royal University and later obtained her injection certification through the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine.
With a diverse nursing background, Chantelle has worked in correctional facilities, mental health and addiction services, community health, and internal medicine. These experiences give her a strong foundation in patient care, anatomical knowledge, and a precise approach to aesthetics.
Chantelle is passionate about helping clients achieve their beautification and anti-aging goals safely and naturally. She dedicates time to every consultation, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to individual needs and enhances both confidence and well-being. Beyond her aesthetic practice, Chantelle remains committed to supporting vulnerable populations, particularly those affected by mental health and addiction challenges.
